Add this to your security system to turn a sound alarm on when water is present. Uses an LM555 timer IC to generate the tone. The LM555 is configured in the AStable mode with one difference. The sensor PC Board replaces one of the resistors. When any moisture is present on the Sensor PC Board it causes the circuit to oscillate. Power requirement 9v DC.
